Greenacre Films is an independent production company founded by award-winning producers Nadine Marsh-Edwards and Amanda Jenks.

We work with great talent in an inclusive space that encourages innovative, cinematic and entertaining ideas to be realised. Our television and film slate aims to be creatively ambitious and connect with both UK and global audiences.

Greenacre Films’ recent television credits include RICHES (ITV/Amazon Primewritten & created by Abby Ajayi, directed by Sebastian Thiel, Darcia Martin and Abby Ajayi, Starring Deborah Ayorinde & Sarah Niles. UNSAID STORIES (ITV) written by Nicôle Lecky, Anna Ssemuyaba, Jerome Bucchan-Nelson & Linette Lynton, directed by Ethosheia Hylton, Koby Adom, Alrick Riley & Francis Annan, starring Nicôle Lecky, Amanda Abbington, Joe Cole, Adelayo Adedayo, Nicholas Pinnock, Yasmin Monet Prince, Pippa Bennett-Warner & Paapa Essiedu. Feature films include BEEN SO LONG (BFI/Film 4) written by Che Walker, directed by Tinge Krishnan, starring Michaela Coel, Arinze Kene, Ronke Adekoluejo & George MacKay which after showcasing at Cannes, a global deal was negotiated with Netflix which at the time was the largest single acquisition of a UK film by the streaming giant. They were also executive producers on documentary AKALA’S ODYSSEY (BBC 4) and performance piece THE RUINS OF EMPIRE (BBC 2) based on a graphic novel written by Akala

Nadine Marsh-Edwards

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Nadine Marsh-Edwards is an RTS and BAFTA award winning film and television and film producer. Her recent television credits include as a producer the Emmy nominated, BAFTA and RTS winning JOE ALL ALONE, a four-part series for the BBC. Prior to Greenacre, she was the development executive on the award winning and BAFTA nominated AN ENGLISHMAN IN NEW YORK for ITV and the executive producer of THE GREY MAN for the BBC. As a former executive producer for BBC Drama Scotland, Nadine has extensive experience in primetime scripted television originating, and exec producing a number of long-running, returning network shows over a seven-year period. She has produced numerous prize winning shorts and her feature film credits include BAFTA nominated, award winning BHAJI ON THE BEACH written by Meera Syal and directed by Gurinder Chadha, Berlin Teddy award winning LOOKING FOR LANGSTON written and directed by Isaac Julien and YOUNG SOUL REBELS, winner of the Semaine de la Critique du Festival Cannes as well as a Teddy award at Berlin, also directed by Isaac Julien.

Amanda Jenks

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Amanda Jenks is an award winning film and television producer. Before Greenacre films Amanda’s credits include executive producer on the series THE WIDOWER written by Jeff Pope for ITV. She produced the Bafta winning, Golden Globe and Emmy nominated film THE GIRL for HBO/BBC written by Gwyneth Hughes, directed by Julian Jarrold starring Toby Jones, Sienna Miller and Imelda Staunton. She also produced MYSTERIOUS CREATURES for ITV starring Brenda Blethyn and Timothy Spall, written by Gwyneth Hughes, winner of the Mental Health Media award 2008 and THE GREY MAN an adaptation of a short story by Andy McNab starring Daniel Ryan and Olivia Coleman for BBC1. Amanda’s previous film AN ENGLISHMAN IN NEW YORK directed by Richard Laxton, starring John Hurt and Cynthia Nixon won a Teddy Award for best actor at Berlin Film Festival 2009, and Best Film at Hamburg. It was also BAFTA nominated and was short listed for a Rose D’Or 2010 for best single film.

Lily Slydel

DEVELOPMENT PRODUCER

Lily worked in Development and Acquisitions at production company and film financier New Sparta Films, as well as at the British Film Institute, where they were the Associate Producer on the Born Digital: First Cuts short film collection, which broadcast on BBC Four. Lily has a Script Development Diploma from the NFTS and attended the 2019 Torino Film Lab as a Story Editor, and alongside their work in development, has produced short films that have screened at Bafta & Oscar-qualifying film festivals.

Michaela De Azevedo

DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

After studying Television Production at the University of Westminster, Michaela worked on a number of live factual entertainment shows at ITV Studios and Remarkable Television, working her way up from Runner to Producer. After gaining experience in literary management, she made the move into scripted development at 42, working within the UK Production department. In 2023, Michaela was chosen as one of 20 participants for Screen Yorkshire’s ScriptEd programme.
